Start the week with a smile and a free game of Ping Pong. Everyone is welcome to come along and join in or just sit and enjoy the unfolding fun and merriment. Meanwhile, in the main bar, the Brixton Ping Pong Society are back for their monthly Monday meet-up of whacking their little white balls around and enjoying a crafty ale or two.

Friday 12th February: Joy Orbison, DJ Nobu and Will Bankhead at Phonox
Still one of the UK’s greatest exports from the late noughties electronic explosion, Joy Orbison’s chameleonic nature has seen him drift on the periphery of the scene whilst also being at its centre. He’ll be joined by celebrated Japanese selector DJ Nobu and Trilogy Tapes boss Will Bankhead on this one. Doors for the bar open from 6pm, the DJ’s start at 10pm.

Saturday 13th February: Groove Control presents So Solid Crew Valentines Ball
After Groove Control’s October smash, the party starters are descending on Electric Brixton once more for a garage-fuelled Valentines edition. The So Solid Crew Valentines Ball is set to blow the roof off with a very rare full So Solid Crew takeover – these guys need very little introduction, creating one of the genre’s biggest tracks and pioneering the sound of UK crossover hip hop in one fell swoop. As always the GC residents will be throwing down garage and disco classics right through till sunrise.
